Superbowl Sunday

This right here is pretty much the only reason I wanted the Saints to win.  KimKar (my twinsie) and her man who happens to be in the SAINTS. ---WHO DAT?  yeah....

Anyway another great aspect about superbowl sunday, besides the Doritos commercials, is the food.

YAY!  The entire reason for the being of this blog: food.  Because I was alone, being a girl, and not knowing a lot of girls who like football, I only made a small plat of food for my self but made some delicious treats.

I made bacon/date wraps and then had wheat thins with fine, colby-jack cheese.

It is very important to me that anything you see here on my blog you may want, I deliver the best I can.  My delicious appetizers turned out well, but I do have some tips for these easy treats.

The first very important step to making successful bacon wrapped dates is to first soak your toothpicks in room-temp water for about 5 min. This helps the date slide off easily when eating them. Second step is to cut your peices of bacon in half or in thirds...If you are like me and like CRISPY bacon, i would cut my bacon into thirds, so when it bakes you have a thinner piece to work with, which will then make it crispier. My bacon was a little too soft for my taste, as I only cut mine in half.

Much Love to you and hollllaaa <3>
